Alzheimer's Day at the State Capitol

We are pleased to announce the confirmation of a statewide Alzheimer's Advocacy Day at the state capitol in Madison. We hope you can join us on Tuesday April 12 as we need your VOICE to help us in the fight against Alzheimer's!

The Advocacy Day will entail advocate training and legislative visits. Join us to become better educated about the issues, learn new advocate skills, network with fellow advocates, and help deliver our important messages directly to our state legislators.

The Advocacy Day will entail 2 aspects and you are invited to one or both:

Finding Penelope

A new play by Anne Basting and Sojourn Theater, in collaboration with Luther Manor and the UWM Theater Department, inspired by Homer Odyssey.

March 15-18, 2011 at 3:00pm (March 16th performance at 3:15pm)

Honoring Our Aging

Memories In The Making

Memories in the Making is Now Being Coordinated in Southeastern Wisconsin!

Memories in the Making is an art program for people with dementia and is traditionally offered in long term care settings like nursing homes, CBRF’s, assisted living, and adult day centers.
